Our friends in AJET are now holding their annual survey of current and former JETs, and this year the topic is language and culture acquisition. They want to know how much JETs learn about Japanese language and culture while in Japan, how these skills are used after JET, and what ways these can be improved (if you ever grumbled about the Japanese for JETs langauge course, now’s the time to tell!). AJET assemble all the data and present it to MEXT, CLAIR and MOFA – the ministries who run the JET Programme.  Please add your voice by filling in the survey. It takes about five minutes and can have a big impact on future JETs.
