As part of the Dublin Theatre Festival the Peacock Theatre (next door to the Abbey) will be staging a brand new play called “Shibari”, about the interconnecting lives of six Dubliners – including a Japanese florist. Tomoko Ozaki, who many of you will know from the Japanese Speech Contest and other events, has been helping the cast with their flower arranging skills (and hopefully teaching them the words to “Sekai hitotsu dake no hana” while she’s at it). The play runs from October 4th to November 3rd, and tickets cost €13 (concessions) – €25. For more details and to book click here.
