Yakisoba, Chicken Katsu, Cucumber and Wakame salad … IJET had a deliciously natsukashii day in the Miele Gallery with former JET and food blogger Fiona Uyema. Fiona and her husband Gilmar showed us how to make 8 easy, traditional Japanese dishes, using local ingredients wherever possible. The event was so popular that we’re hoping to organise another demonstration lesson of 8 new dishes soon. In the meantime you can follow Fiona’s blog at http://www.fionasjapanesecooking.blogspot.ie or sign up for one of her regular demonstration lessons through the Miele Kitchen.
